Mark P. Masterson, Executive Director 

Mark Masterson has had an extensive career in community and real estate development over the past 25 years. He served as a community organizer with the East Allegheny Community Council, established the Real Estate Development Program at the Northside Leadership Conference, and established a successful private real estate development and consulting firm. While employed with the Northside Leadership Conference in 2000, he helped create the Northside Community Development Fund, later served on its Board and became Executive Director in 2007. Mr. Masterson received a Masters of City and Regional Planning Western Kentucky University and a Bachelor of Arts from Thiel College. He resides on Pittsburgh’s Northside. 

 

Chelsea Newcomer, Assistant to the Executive Director 

 Chelsea Newcomer joined The Fund in November 2018 with 14 years of administrative and bookkeeping experience. 

Richard Newell, Loan Officer 

Richard Newell joined the Northside Community Development Fund in March of 2020 with over 30 years of banking experience.  Prior to joining the Fund, he has worked for several of the local banks in Pittsburgh in the commercial lending department. Most recently he worked for 20 plus years at PNC Bank as an Assistant Vice President in Business Banking.  There he specialized in providing lending services to any and all businesses located within low to moderate income areas.  Known for having a good work ethic, and a strong commitment to the community, he received the 2005 KDKA- TV Lift Up Award.  In his spare time Rich enjoys spending time with his family and being active in community events.  He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Duquesne University.
