To All Neighborhood Community Development Fund Loan Customers,

As we at the Neighborhood Community Development Fund (formerly the “Northside Community Development Fund”) continue to monitor Coronavirus (COVID-19) developments closely, we are guided by our mission of helping people. Our priority is the safety and security of our customers, colleagues, and communities.

As we monitor ongoing developments and safety information related to the Coronavirus (COVID-19), we are following guidelines from public health authorities, including the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), and state and local health officials.  We also have begun implementing our own operational preparedness plan to ensure business continuity and fulfillment of your transactions while working to protect the well-being of our customers and our colleagues. Our staff is working remotely, and we are continuing operations.

This is an uncertain time and we want to let you know that we are here to help you.  That is why we are going to grant a 3-month deferral on principal and interest payments to any business loan customer who has been negatively impacted by the COVID-19 emergency.

Diane Mercer and Miauna Connor will be reaching out to you in the next day or two to ascertain if you need to have your loan payments deferred.  If you are experiencing issues with cash flow and income related to the COVID-19 pandemic, please let Diane or Miauna know when they call.

We will continue to monitor this fluid situation and evaluate the need for additional measures to support our customers, colleagues and communities. For additional information about COVID-19, get the latest report from the CDC at cdc.gov and  from the Allegheny County Health Department.

We also wanted to let you know that our subsidiary, The Northside Chronicle is performing a community service for businesses and residents due to COVID-19 concerns.  They are publishing a Guide to Navigating Pittsburgh’s Northside In The Time Of Coronavirus to help businesses let the public now about their efforts to serve the public and reduce the spread of COVID-19.  This might be relevant to many of you to communicate things you may be doing or services you are performing.

We are here for you, and we will do everything that we can to help you get through this time of uncertainty.

Thank you.
